How it all started...

Many years ago on a frosty day in March we left England to travel to Sardinia for the first time.
When we arrived we found the island in bloom; the sky was clear and bright and the air smelled of herbs and orange blossom.

We set about to discover the island and were instantly captivated by the strong contrast between the hinterland with its traditional villages and 'Nuraghi' and the modern ports and towns, and we found it fascinating to discover traces of many foreign influences throughout the centuries. The rugged beauty of the island grabbed us and we were taken by the earnest yet exceptionally friendly manner with which the Sards welcomed us. We were immediately charmed and our stay was a memorable one.

Upon our return, family and friends were intrigued to hear us talk with such zeal about the island and soon wanted to see for themselves.

They confirmed that we had found a haven of relaxation for families and the individual traveller alike; this was a place that offered itself to a vast variety of outdoor activities from swimming, windsurfing, snorkelling and walking to extreme sports like rock climbing and kite surfing but with its nature reserves, wild flowers and rare birds, appealed also to those looking for a slower pace and a quiet time.

We were therefore delighted when we discovered "Sardafit", local Holiday home owners, who had already been offering their villas and apartments to visitors from Continental Europe for more than 20 years. It was amazing to find such a varied selection of properties close to wonderful sandy beaches and the crystal clear sea and we were astonished when we realised that this area was still unknown to Holidaymakers from the UK and Ireland.

After some deliberation, we decided that with our enthusiasm for Sardinia and many years of experience in the travel industry, we were ready to introduce this coastline of Sardinia to the UK and Ireland. Now in our fifth year and with a wonderful response to our programme, our enthusiasm is unscathed and we hope that you will be just as enchanted with this wonderful island as we are.
